What is with this "you have not backed up in x days" prompt?
You have not backed up in x days prompt.
The backup message that you receive when you open Time Matters
Assuming that you are on AMP, to comply with the EULA you must backup Time Matters. This prompt screen is to remind you upon logon how long it has been since the last backup. The problem is...this is how many days since last backup from within Time Matters.
Where is this prompt set?
1. This checkbox enables this warning. It can be turned off. BUT before you do so ensure that your system is being backed up.
SQL Maintenance plan but what do you do if you are using SQL Express
If you are using SQL, you can set up a maintenance plan that backs up the SQL data. If you are using SQL Express you cannot set up maintenance plans, you need to do it from a scheduler. Steve at dataequity has a good post on the topic.
