You want to store your attachments outside of the database. In previous versions of Time Matters attachments were stored in the SQL database which could cause issues

1. Your options are the in the Files directory or an alternate directory. We recommend files at this time. This will create an email folder in the files directory
2. You can encrypt the attachments. This means they can only be opened from within Time Matters. This option exists because you may have security set within Time Matters on email or Matters. Time Matters does not translate that security to the file folder structure leaving the attachments without security. Encypting them gives you that security.

You must be on Time Matters 9 SR-2 or beyond to have these settings.

1. Check to store attachments in the file system. You MUST use a mapped drive letter that all users can see and resolve to the same folder.
