Integrations with Office and Adobe

This is the first step to troubleshoot the integrations

Close all Programs

Close Word, Outlook, Microsoft Office programs and Adobe.
Outlook and Adobe many times are still running but you cannot see them. If we get an error at the end, I will show you how to make sure they are closed.

In Time Matters - Workstation Level Setup

Click icons to setup integrations

1. Click Word Processor Setup (for Word and Wordperfect)
2. Click Additional Program Setup (For Office, Outlook, Adobe, Internet Explorer and Firefox)

Many times you will want to click both in order

Just Click OK

1. Just Press OK and wait a second. Time Matters installs the integrations when you press OK.

Time Matters will recognize what Word Processor you have installed. They will be checked.
If you use Word Merges (as a rule we never use them) the checkbox will stop the Word security prompt.

Additional Programs - Just press OK

Time Matters will recognize which applications you have installed and they will be checked by default. Pressing OK will install the integrations.

What if I do NOT want some of the inegrations

1. Uncheck the integrations that you want uninstalled
2. Press OK

There are times that you do not want to integrate with Internet Explorer.

Errors when you press ok - Retry with administrator privileges

There are 2 errors that we see. Both can usually be fixed by making sure the programs are really closed.

1. Appication is currently runing, please exit
2. You need administrator rights to perform this action

Make sure the application is really closed

Many times Outlook has issues closing so the process is running.

1. Highlight theOutlook.exe
2. Press End Process

If your issue is with Word, look for the winword.exe process
If Adobe - look for the adobe products. They will be near the top. Acrobat, Acroread etc

Try Workstation Level Setup again

Word 2007 - Check to ensure security has not disabled the macros

1. When you open Word after a Time Matters install, you may see this security warning. Click Options
